Sara is a moreton bay based ceramicist, practicing her craft for over 7 years. largely self taught & working from a small studio in her home. her hospitality background gives her work a pragmatic edge; yet the fragility & unpredictability of her play with altering wheel thrown vessels creates forms which are fresh & contemporary.

in 2024 sara began working with venessa of middle pocket pottery, joining her wood firing team. here she has found direction in her work. manipulating the boundaries of the clay to create forms which lean into the natural effects of the wood firing process.

sara is currently focusing on all things tableware, collaborating with chefs to create one of a kind pieces for hospitality venues. creating vessels which blend rustic elegance with contemporary simplicity.

Sara acknowledges the people of Quandamooka country, traditional owners of the land on which she lives & works. May we pay respects to Elders: past, present & emerging, & acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded.
